You couldn't be more right. I just eat starch, beans, berries, and various veggies. Lost 20lbs in a month. It's not hard and I barely even think about it. Just fill your kitchen with simple foods with spices you love and you're good.

For not pushing perfection, you did a PERFECT job!! I haven't "eaten the cow" in 7 years and I'm still evolving on my journey. I'm going for Good, Better, Best and some days, Good is Good enough! Some days, I try to shoot for Best. Thanks for keeping it simple! :)

SUPER smart advice - I ONLY made great progress to adopting a WFPB diet once I got my head in the right place, and personalizing a plan for me was the best tool I had to support me. Thanks!

Great video! It’s so easy to bogged down with the little tedious details that it becomes very overwhelming at times. I try to keep it very simple these days. If I eat the same thing every day for a long time I don’t worry about it. It’s healthy and I enjoy it. That’s all that matters. I believe that sometimes we get into a trap of trying to prove to others how great this lifestyle is by making all sorts of different recipes and all and forget that most people even on the SAD eat practically the same thing all the time. Again, great message!

Great advice. I'm currently becoming certified in holistic (wfpb) nutrition, and though the course is full of wonderful scientific information, the psychological and habitual factors are quite overlooked. I'm always happy to speak to people about the nitty gritty of nutrition as it's a passion of mine, but it shouldn't need to be a huge passion and take up 90% of your headspace to be achievable/sustainable. I used to go into far more detail when asked about my wfpb diet.. now I often just say "I have an airfryer and I eat a lot of homemade (oil free) tortilla chips and fries" :)

Thank you Dillon! I needed to hear this. I've been vegan (junkfood) for 5 years, now trying to transition to WFPB, and simplicity is what I'm looking for. Thanks for breaking it down like this.

Great message Dillon, keeping it simple keeps it going. I quite like that Dr Greger has given us the ideal nutritional plan for a day, it helps me see what to aim for, but I included these changess 1 at a time. What I eat in a day videos are a great help imho. Superb list, starch starch starch etc haha.

I love these videos on simplicity. So many of the WFPB videos get more and more complex (which is understandable) but this is a great reminder that this is the easiest way of eating. I always show people your videos first when they ask about healthy eating.
