Thanks for the great video! I just stumbled to your channel and boy am i glad. Been using computers for over 30 year, from DOS to Windows 11. I've tried Linux a few years back (RedHat, Ubuntu and now Mint) and I've been intimidated and over whelmed from the complexity. But since I've installed Mint (1 week) it really encouraged me more to go forward. Being concerned with AI and the way Microsoft is headed i really want to jump ship and head over the Linux side. Anyways, thanks for your help and great videos. I will definitely be spending some time viewing your past videos. Looking forward for more content. (side note: I was forced to learn a bit just by installing it on an older laptop and what a nightmare)

Timeshift + Btrfs works fine. I have been using it and restored the system a few tmes.
