This is why I play on tv, not handheld. I don’t want to be playing splatoon, then the screen cracks, and as you said, “they may replace your system” I can’t do cloud data on splatoon for some reason.

I want to send my joycons with drift to Nintendo. Has anyone ever had problems/came out worse?

My dad always likes to remind me when I'm sending in drifting joycons that they state that you may not get your original joycons back, and they might not even send you back the same color. I haven't had a color swap yet but as long as they're repairing them for free, I'll just have to see

Nintendo has a free repair service for joy con drift. DONT DO IT. It took over 6 months to get replacement joy cons a for me.

I sent my broken Wii back to Nintendo to be repaired shortly after the 3DS came out. It was free. It’s been good ever since

My family’s Nintendo switch stopped working, and yes, they DID replace the switch.

I had to have my switch repaired about a year ago. I had a launch model switch and it was just starting to become broke down, it no longer would connect to the dock and the battery was having issues, along with joy con drift. They then told me something along the lines of “because of your issues we’ll only charge you $40” so that was really great.

I replace the joy sticks myself. The replacement parts are pretty cheap online. And you don't have to worry about not getting your original controller back.

Yo my little brother messed up his 2ds when he was younger and his switch when he was older, both times he got it back it was wiped. So sadly now he doesn't use it. Be careful if u don't want to lose your progress

As someone who had a SD Card connector replacement for the Switch and NOT American or has the nearest Nintendo Service Center, it's cheaper to repair locally than shipping it to Nintendo and not getting the same console again.

Joycon drifts, I'll buy an analog and bring it to the same shop where I fixed my Switch.

I literally got my old New 3DS XL done free since it was my first time, and also because it was simply just water damage, not sure if that’s a Canada-only thing but it was still pretty cool
