And now they're calling the 'sugar diet' the ray peat diet and he wasn't even on a high sugar diet.

So, in all the recent videos on the sugar diet, there’s been a lot of reference to Ray Peat and his diet. But the sugar diet is nothing like what he just described at all.

Okay so this is lots of dairy. For me, I would prefer to eat whole oranges to make up for the lack of calcium in the OJ and be able to skip the cheese during the daytime which has a lot of fat. When I mix fat with my fruit or juice, it ferments and also doesn't give me the clean energy I need so I can avoid caffeine. However, if one does not have access to high quality citrus, eating a substantial meal of them could be quite difficult, and OJ is a better choice, because getting in high amounts of vitamin C is still crucial. My skin and health is always better when I get 500mg + vitamin C a day.

But anyways if OJ is all available that is palatable, thats where boiled low oxalate dark leafy greens like kale can come in, high in calcium, low in Ph. I know there is the oxalate issue, but i'm not totally sold on it. I do know when I eat a lot of added cooked spinach to things, I get those little hard white head things around my eyes, so I try and avoid spinach as a regular green. But kale never seems to do that. I usually eat kale at dinner and I add grass fed butter and some parmesan as I heard eating them with dairy helps with oxalates. Then I can eat less cheese for the calcium aspect and more for added flavor (and thus less fat).

I can't eat that for breakfast
I love grains beans potato
Nut butter protein powder milk
Spirulina and maybe a veggie for breakfast
I can't eat eggs for breakfast I just can't do it
Eggs is more of a lunch food for me, the majority of my animal proteins I eat them at lunch I just can't eat them at breakfast because they're not foods I enjoy eating at all
But I know they're nutritious so I do eat them but I just can't eat them with breakfast or dinner
