Kitchen tip. When using canned beans, corn etc always rinse them under cold water in a strainer. Gets rid of extra starch and salt.

You can use a towel under the cutting board! It’ll help putting it into its place! You’ll find chopping much better without the board moving around.

Suggestions:

Taste the sauce, paste, etc. before adding to anything. That way.... you'd be able to control the amount of heat to add to a dish.

You can add chicken broth or any broth you have on hand to the shredded chicken to thin the sauce/paste. You can also add a splash of milk.

Add more shredded chicken into the batch you have....that can help to lessen the heat.

Thanks for the video. It looks good. I always get sour cream on mine when I go to chipotles. And that would’ve taken some of the heat out also oh, and I also get the corn salsa with it. That stuff is the bomb.

Hailee, chipotle peppers freeze well. Take the portion you don't need, stick it in a ziplock and freeze. You can then cut off the amount you need later for another recipe.
