In this lecture, we discuss two more techniques for solving first order nonlinear equations and then move on to chapter 3 of Boyce and DiPrima, where the focus is the Second order linear equation--that is, linear equations involving up to the second derivative of a function.
Unfortunately, we did not get far in this lecture. Partly because I was running on no sleep, and partly because I couldn't teach through the fire drill :p
