This older gentleman is Thad Garrison. He has lived in the Black Mountain Community for the longest, and support the local college students for as long as I can remember. A volunteer rescuer said he had rescued a family off the mountain, and when he went to put them up in a hotel and the hotel management said that all the hotels were filled with FAMA workers, he couldn’t find a place to house the family, they slept in the vehicles cold and wet

The guy in charge of the aircraft in that area around the 10 minute mark is right on about FEMA. This country runs on the backs of the people. When the Nashville area was flooded in 2010, we had people going house to house in neighborhoods working to get back to some sort of normality. We were up and running well before FEMA came.
