If you don’t live here, you don’t realize just how close Orlando is to Tampa. It’s only about 45 minutes. They are all about to get it. I’m a little bit north 2 counties up which means an about 80 miles. We are all going to be in trouble. By me we are going to get 8-10 foot storm surge and 5-10 inches of rain. AND 5-10 inches of rain. It is scary and my first hurricane ever was Hurricane Andrew in 1992. And that was terrifying. I’m trying not to freak out. Pray for us all here that we can make it out the other side alive and well. Pray that the people who could not leave are safe. Pray that people stop leaving their dogs tied to fences as the water is rising. It’s disgusting. Look up that video smh 🤦🏽‍♀️. Please just pray for Florida as a whole. ❤

I survived hurricane beryl earlier this year in houston and it was hell. Electricity went out. No gas anywhere. Food in the stores got rotten bcuz of no electric. Best advice is to leave and come back when there is sanity.

Florida is no longer the retirement paradise it has claimed to be since the 50's. For 20 years Hurricane Andrew in 1990 was the Big One. Since 2018 there has been two Cat 5's and three 4's. Florida has become crowded, expensive, and dangerous. Thousands of trailer park retirement communities will be wiped out from Milton leaving these poor, elderly, people with nothing, just like Helene did last week and just like Ian did two years ago. You should think twice about moving to Florida now.
