I can see why James Spader agreed to this role. His character, and his storyline is beyond fantastic

As sad as this was this was probrably the most logical end to her character, as we all knew her desperation for answers was eventually going to get her killed as she continuously abandoned her allies and made alliances with dangerous criminals simply because she couldn't trust red who despite her numerous attempts to kill him never stop trying to safeguard her

After spending her entire life protecting and caring for her he might not be her biological father but he was her dad. He was the one person she could truly trust no matter what. I can’t imagine the devastation he felt at losing her

Guys it’s clear as she is dying she figures out who red is. She starts putting it together. So she did die knowing. She just didn’t get to live with knowing for long.

That look of utter terror in Red's eyes; he's witnessing her soul leaving her body, and in a certain way, his soul is also leaving his.

Something its totally clear, the blacklist is a show that never gives a detail answer, so to assumed that Reddington is Katerina its exactly the same as saying that in the 9th season we will find out that maybe Red is her real father.

Heartbreaking, townsend fulfilled his revenge even after his death, killed Elizabeth infront of reddington.

Liz and Red both died, one literally and one metaphorically.
I'm not sure where they take the show without Liz to balance Reddington, but I'll give it a fair chance.

I’m not sure James Spader himself can even better this “Reddington” role. Easily one of my favorite series.

I wish the show would have ended here. it would have been a heartbreakingly beautiful ending to a story. if you put two and two together it’s obvious reddington is katerina rastova and liz clearly realizes it at the end, but I wish they would have made that a little bit more clear. season 9 and 10 were not needed. if megan boone didn’t leave I obviously think liz would not have died and therefore season 9 and 10 (including reds death) would be very different. Liz was definitely not my favorite character in some ways, but I can’t blame the girl for wanting answers. eventually, it was bound to get her killed and I think megan and james both did an amazing job acting in this scene. if they would have ended the show here I would say the show would have been solid up to the end. season 9 and 10 made the show so bad.

He played in White Palace with Susan Sarandon and it is still one of my favorite movies of all time! It’s was award worthy movie that was so underrated and unknown.

I think in the end, while her memories of Katarina and Red were merging, she understood who Red was, and no matter how much it sucks to say goodbye to a lead character, I am relieved that in some way she realized. I don't what Red's story will be next season without Keen, since all his mission was to protect her. But can't wait for it to return. We'll finally be able to see what Reddington does

Mouth open ending. I was simply stunned. I figured Boone leaving the show in season 9 meant that she ultimately wouldn't be able to takeover for red the longer this episode went but never saw this. Regarding Raymond's identity, after thinking about it, I really do think Katerina Rostova became Raymond Reddington. They mentioned the countless surgeries and that Raymond "knew her better than anyone". Boone will definitely be missed in season 9 :/
