The biggest tragedy of the show is that even after 8 seasons Liz died without knowing what's her relation with Red....

I literally threw my remote at the TV. After 8 years, all the lies, all the hints, we get

This finale is literally disrespectful to the audience.. Extending the "truth" that was sought for 8 seasons with Liz's death is nothing but fooling the viewers. I think the screenwriters also don't know who is who, because they got into a dead end.

They have dragged this Reddington mystery on for way too damn long at this point and I was slowly beginning to drift away from the show because of it. But now I've lost all interest in the show altogether after this finale. The main appeal for me was these two and their relationship, both the good and bad times. Why do writers ALWAYS insist on killing a character off when the actor wants to leave? Use your writing skills to think of a way to write them off alive, otherwise, it's just bad writing to me. So now her daughter is an orphan, her new romance with Ressler was a waste of time, and Reddington watched her die without telling her the biggest damn thing she's wanted to know since she met him. Like, he could have whispered who he was into her ear before she died. Anything! I don't know... as a viewer I'm just angry. These past eight years kind of feel like it's been for nothing.

Writers is so damn cruel. They gave horrible storyline for Liz & the ending is worst than horrible.

For 8 seasons Liz character live in puzzles, unsecurity and sadness for loosing all her family members (except Agnes which make it worse since now Agnes is an ophan and only have aging Mrs French & dying Raymond to take care of her), became a fugitive & lunatic criminals just to get an answer about her mother and Red, ended dead without getting any true answer.

When I was like, Red there has to be another way cuz she is not going to pull that trigger ... Pum she dies. I did not see that coming. Red did everything to maintain her save and then she dies in front of him 💔

Sadly, the writers painted themselves into a corner and even though it's an awful scenario....Rederina is the only logical answer at this point. Disappointing ending for Liz as well.

I am paralyzed by that ending. I confess to being really shocked. 8 long years for her to know the truth about the identity of the man who invaded her life. And the worst was not revealed. And to finish it off, this happens at the end of the episode. I feel totally frustrated. The fans deserved to know who is Red? She gets shot, leaves her daughter orphaned and is technically dead, because in the shows anything is possible. If season 9 shows a dead body in the morgue, or a wake with an open coffin, I will believe in Elisabeth Keen's death. Other than that she comes back for a small appearance at the end. You know like Tereza Mendonza, Jon Snow Game of Thrones, Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock, John Locke in Lost and Kenny McCormick in South Park, but this one was just for fun 😅😅. Everything in the show revolved around the "truth" and that question who is Red? I don't know how the dynamic of the 9 trmseason will be, which I believe will be the last. Will it be Red seeking revenge? Will Ressler, downtrodden, suffering, become an alcoholic? Because this poor man has no luck with women. Her going to the hoapital was a very sweet moment between them. There it was clear that there was love between them. Like her moment with her daughter in Central Park. As the actor who plays Ressler said in the interview: "the end of the season is going to be mind blowing". 😅😅. The quote "Before you go out seeking revenge, dig two graves". Used in revenge. The thought is attributed to Confucius, but it is believed that it actually originated from a Japanese proverb. We can only digest this bitter and sad ending and wait until next season to find out if Keen is really gone.

I hope they keep this show going as long as shows like those NCIS ones going into their 30th seasons, lol. As long as they have James Spader, I will watch. This is the best character I've seen him play in his career.
