It is genetics my dad was a poker player. He would never tell me this or let me see or hear it.
I have always had a fascination with cards and eventually found poker.
Like a moth to a flame I was drawn in.
When my Dad found out I play and that I have I become successful in the game he became more close to me. Sadly it wasn’t for right reasons.

Amanda, you are so right about addiction running in families. My dad was a bad alcoholic. When I was 23 I researched alcoholism and it said 1 out of 3 children of alcoholics will become boozers. At that time I chose to not drink anymore. I loved to drink, and was doing it too much. You are very smart! Amanda I heard you yesterday talking about depression. I’m stuck in this horrible place, I call it quicksand. Any advice hun? I don’t get out of bed or go outside. Thanks for any tips you can offer. Love to you and Daniel. Happy Thanksgiving! ❤

Yeah, I had to cut the Rick James nose aerobics out this year. It was just getting to be too much... too much EVERYTHING, basically. Too much money, too much of a risk having it on my person, too much time recovering from a three-day bender every other weekend, too much completely wasted time overall, etc.

I'm glad I only did it for six years or so, but that was long enough to leave long-lasting (possibly permanent) effects on my body. My sense of smell comes and goes, for example. It was fun and all, but in the end it wasn't really worth it; stay away from that one, kids.

I drank a redbull on cocaine and literally didn’t realize my almost fatal error until i felt that same feeling, my heart beating out of my chest.

I like Amanda and I hope their marriage lasts forever . It’s a big risk when you’re a millionaire and you enter into a relationship with a former addict . Guess they call it baggage . That being said for all I know Amanda may have twice the money he has . I would like to know if Daniel puts more money in the bank from sponsors then he does from winning at poker . He’s like Paris Hilton now . She used to get paid for showing up to clubs starting at fifteen years old . Daniel’s like in his forties and gets paid to show up at tournaments all over the world . 😊 I know if he reads this comment he’s laughing .

Addiction is definitely genetic. My great grandfather my dad me and one of my sons is battling with it. I’ve been sober almost ten years. But I definitely think genetics have something to do with it

When you feel the heart pumping like fuck it's because you're too high on cocaine and some people have had heart attacks because of this, i was addicted too and i used to start on a Thursday night and be up till the Monday morning and after 3 days of drinking and doing coke i would take codeine tablets to make me feel not too high but I've freaked out too and it is scary, thanks for sharing your story Amanda.

You can be addicted to anything from drugs n alcohol or gambling to attention, conflict or Botox

Man I was enjoying this and honestly Stephen A surprisingly sounds like a pretty cool dude, but then of course towards the end he hadda play the victim card racial shit. 🙄😔
