So I confessed my feelings to my crush and she rejected me, unfortunately. It hurt like hell but I actually don’t regret telling her at all. Because now I can finally move on in peace without holding in those feelings for months or even years. It feels like a whole new era in my life.

I think u should definitely confess, cause why would u waste so much time pouring so much energy into the person who doesn’t even like you or know you. Cause now most people, when they started out as friends, they’ve been friendzoned. I think u should confess to face the answer yes or no or u can continue pouring so much energy and wasting time. So make an effort for a relationship now or never. Fyi just my opinion

I think you should confess. I did, and she said she just wanted to be friends. It was easier with closure to move on with life. Rather than guessing "does she like me?". Nothing hurts more than seeing your crush with another man. So if you're unsure, just lay your cards on the table. It'll hurt if she isn't interested, but at least you know where she stands and you can start to move on.

What if you want to confess to them that you had a crush on them for years and now you want to tell them to get it off your chest and move on with your life. You don't expect anything out of it. You just want them to know. Even if they already have a boyfriend/girlfriend. You just want to let them know and it could also be that you will gain some kind of confidence out of it.

I honestly think that you should confess the longer you hold onto those feelings the harder it'll be to accept rejection if that person ends up doing so. So it's best that you confess to them as soon as possible so that in case they rejected you it won't be as painful because you did it right away. Trust me I know from experience

i always love how u said "take time" because i have to consider the context or the situation. it's hard to be impulsive when it comes to confessing to them. recently, i'd rather keep quiet just to keep them. i can't lose a potential friendship. :(

While I agree that just telling someone how you feel out of the blue, especially if you don't know them well, is super awkward, I also feel like the advice of "Show them how you feel, don't tell them how you feel" is kind of dangerous advice. That's how you get people agonizing over their crush for years or worse, expect that if they just are nice enough to their crush "eventually they'll get it and fall in love with you". While you should show your feelings through your actions, clear and honest communication feels like the most likely path to long-term relationship success.
