If you are hanging out with friends, you use informal English. When talking to your professor or giving a lecture at university, you use Formal English.

So instead of ‘I’m going to work on it right now.’ You can instead say ‘I’m going to work on it right currently.’ Thank you so much, I’m gonna sound more formal at work now!
