👉 English can be formal, semi formal or informal. Depending on the situation, you can use one of these registers. There is no better or worse. If you are hanging out with friends, you use informal English. When talking to your professor or giving a lecture at university, you use Formal English.

👉 Formal phrases in English are special words and sentences that we use when we want to be polite and respectful. They help us communicate in a nice and proper way, especially in more serious situations. For example, instead of saying "Hey!" you might say "Hello!" or "Hi there!" when you meet someone important or when you want to show good manners. Another formal phrase is "Please" when you ask for something, and "Thank you" when you want to show gratitude. Remember, using formal phrases is like using your best manners to show kindness and respect to others!
