for me custom loop are becoming a hobby, I even watercooled a RTX 2060 and R5 3600 for no reason for my lil brother, especially when cheaper brand like barrow and bykski enter the market..

I wish the manufacturers would offer cards without cooling solutions. Some of the board partners cards have incredibly elaborate cooling and it seems like a tremendous waste to pull them.

Hey! Do you know if I can waterblock my gpu but keep the backplate? Or do I have to use the included one?

Just don't stupidly try to liquid metal a water cooler for a marginal 2 degrees difference and a high risk of bricking your gpu, and motherboard too.
