A white pc with a glass panel and airflow holes is not a sleeper

So, gpu’s sagging upwards, had to take one fan off the radiator, and the gpu’s not getting any fresh air from anywhere…. This sleeper build is gonna be definetely sleepy in a couple of minutes of gaming

A 240 AIO on the top as an exhaust would be more than enough to cool a 7800x3d properly. Then just 3 intake fans on the front and you could fit the 4080 super without any problems. If I ordered this from a professional, you’d be getting a return and I’d be spending my money elsewhere.

"GPU fits" seems to be a flexible term for you, when I look at how the card is placed on the front and is recovered upwards.

Lmao took a fan off the radiator looks ass

Terrible idea take fan off radiator. Get a slim fan at least instead of no fan. I can’t image the gpu sitting on top the bottom fan keeping pressure on the pci slot being good either.

The customer should've done more research

Solution was two 120mm fans on a 360mm radiator 💀

Had this same exact issue with my buddys computer last night. Ended up deciding to vertical mount the gpu instead of taking a fan out. All it costs is a $30 pcie riser

Just seeing the 4080 Super makes me feel a little sick. I have one myself as an OC version and had to open it because the thermal paste was applied incorrectly at the factory and so 20% of the chip was not even covered with thermal paste. And the thermal paste is the worst I've ever seen. For many people, the problem only becomes apparent after a year or a few months, depending on usage. It starts when temperatures reach over 80 degrees. Since I replaced it, it runs better and cleaner, especially up to 360 watts at once and a maximum of 74-76 degrees instead of 84 and later more

haha this is hilarious because its almost exactly the same problem I ran into just with a Fractal North and the same GPU. I also solved it exactly the same way. I was worried about thermals deleting the middle fan but so far it has been great and haven’t even come close to overheating under load.

Bro is putting top of the line components with one of the cheapest am5 motherboard 💀

The radiator is hooked up as poorly as you could do it. Put it up top or at very least flip it so the hoses are on the bottom. Gravity still applies in closed loops.

Sleeper no rgb > buys ram with rgb instead of non arg ram

nguyenminhhoang

2 fans off the rad, rgb corsair ram you absolutely could’ve replaced with non-rgb, faster micron ram, and not mounting the rad on the top to exhaust heat out the top to avoid the first issue. Brother.

This feels like one of those "ok who did it" kinda moments

A sleeper, so when you roll up next to another pc, you'll take it at the light.
