A viewer sent them their PC, it wasn't turning on.The porblem was that he didn't plug any power cable to the motherboard

For the love of god, I really hope this will fix it.. Today i nearly had a heart attack when the same thing happened to me. It happened while I was playing Elden Ring, it was sudden. So logically nothing to do with loose cables. My gut feeling tells me my graphics card died.. But I dont want to believe it :( I will have to open up my PC tomorrow.

Literally have this same problem atm my pc has been a brick for 2 days, its definitely the graphics card as I reseated it but nothing came from that :/ (1 year old rtx 3060)

i have same problem but what i do is reset cmos for everytime i take off the gpu

ok for me same ish issue. but the difference is it sometimes boots sometimes it does not boot and needs 10~ restarts or even sometimes taking out CMOS and swapping ram slots will boot. by boot i mean display signal. and before that it says no signal but all lights up. no errors on mobo. when it does boot i can keep it for days run stress tests and all that no crashes no brakes works smooth. I am very confused on whats the issue. also if i change anything in bios for ram it will say no display signal after restarting. and i mean anything like XMP profile change or speed it wont boot and i will have to reset CMOS for it to boot. Also I did update bios.
here are my specs:
Nvida 4080. Ryzen 7 7800x3d. MAG b650 TOMAHAWK WIFI. Crosshair DDR5-6000 (set on auto which runs on task mngr on 4800 cant change cause wont boot. even if i set it to 4800 manually) 1k vault power supply RM1000x.
Anyone know what could be the issue?

My friend had the same problem, we re-seated the ram and the pc worked

This happened to me this morning and i plugged HDMI into motherboard and it worked the i downloaded the latest drivers and used display port and now it works in my GPU

I know this video is quiet old but here is another tip if you get no display, primarily if you’ve just updated your motherboard, a lot of motherboard rn don’t come out of the box with bios that support 3000 or 4000 series card. You need to bios update before it’ll read it, pretty easy if you don’t have an F or KF chip.

I want to add that it can be your monitor, the display port on either the monitor or the IO or the display cable itself. Check the easiest stuff first.
