In 1982 my husband was 23 and I was 20. We married. We had our son when I was 24 and had our daughter when I was 27. We remained together until my husband was killed in 2011. We planned to grow old together. I just turned 60 last week. I'd do it all again for true love.

My grandparents were married for 70 years before he passed away a couple of years ago. She says this all the time. They married when she was 16 and he was 18. She can't remember her children, or some days her own name, but every single evening at 5:30, she asks what time Wesley will be home. She spent more of her life with him than her parents.

What happens when a man loses his kids. Not 'if'. When.

50% of all marriages end in divorce, and roughly 70% of the time initiated by the wife. After divorce, women get child custody 90% of the time, which means the man has a 90% chance of dedicating 15%-25% of his GROSS income to child support. Sometimes he has to pay more. Why would a man want to get married current year? I'm in my early 20s, but I'd rather live a happy life. There's more to life than finding that other person.

Married at 24 to the absolute dream of a woman. She and I learned real fast it’s much better to grow with someone, share these great years, and eventually have a massive family. 4 years in now and even through the rough. With God, Family, and genuine love/respect for one another, it’s been nothing but joy.

My husband and I married at 18. This year we celebrated 52 years together. We really did grow up together. ❤️

This is one of those topics where the Daily Wire talking heads can sound so idealistic & completely out of touch with reality. They constantly are talking about how immature people are in society, especially Millennials & Gen Zers, but then go on about how they should take on the incredible responsibility of marriage & staying together forever? WTF? Besides, it doesn't take a genius to realize that a very large percentage of marriages fail, so to continually push an ideal of something that ends in failure does sound like a serious disconnect.

I tried doing the conservative marriage thing and it got me falsely accused of domestic violence and cheated on. I’ve since left the dating game and plan on becoming a hermit

I was 20 and my husband was 25. Tied the knot in 1992. No kids, but I couldn’t have asked for a better life or a better man.

Conservatives MUST support PARENTAL EQUALITY FOR MEN or marriage is a dead institution. There is too much risk for young men to marry and have kids.

No marriage until the laws change. Keep the damn government out of your home.

I was 18, my husband was 20. We had 3 children by the time I was 22. We are still together and will be married 53 years in January 2023. Yes, I truly feel we grew up together, we thank our Lord for the time he has given us.

Marriage is important, I agree. But if you're a man in 2023, it's foolish.

The family court systems need to be heavily revamped.

Women need to stop being promiscuous.

I grew up for 21 years with horrible examples of marriages. My grandparents, my uncles and aunts, my parents, all. Ones that last but full of pressure, ones that end, fights and problems, infidelities, polygamous marriages, etc. So yeah, I opt NOT to. I have enough problems of my own and if someday I make it, imma enjoy it myself.

Very, very, very important… but not something any sane-minded man would even consider until the marriage/divorce/custody laws change…. Which I hope they do!

Young marriages often fail because people grow into different people as they mature.
