I did smile direct in 2022 and the aligners were terrible. I am now trying byte and so far amazing. I have done invisalign years ago and was a horrid experience with the ortho. So much so they never called me for remaining trays. I gave u ad then recently tried both companies. Now I did tell my dentist and made sure my teeth are good. I also work for two dentists/oral pathologist and one is against it and one is like if something feels off, stop. So that's what I have bee doing...but so far its been good. Plus you don't have to rush and change the trays every 7 days you can change every 10 to 14 days. Especially if you worry about root resorption, etc. I recommend Byte to be fair. The trays fit well and not crappy like smile direct.

If you are relatively young, healthy and have minor cosmetic issues (like small gaps, a little unevenness, and anything else not from jaw problems) I say gofor it. My husband’s done it a few years before because we know it is a bit of unevenness. Fyi, he’s gone thru big face gear and braces when he was a child. So we know all his major problems were fixed, but got unevenness due to not wearing retainer as a kid.

Feeling so discouraged because I am tried of my front teeth and one next to them overlapping. I have no issues with my bite and I have drained my insurance 3 years in a row to take care of fillings and root canals after years of not having dental insurance. Most recently, the dentist I went to for years did 2 root canals on me in January and did not provide an estimate prior. I had no idea they had moved out of my network and it was over $5K out of pocket. I just want braces. I’ve been working at it for years and it feels so far out of reach. I am seriously considering Byte because HSA will pay for it. I just want nice teeth:(

I had Invisalign, but I lost retainer and my teeth shifted. I have dental insurance and could have paid for Invisalign again but I got byte instead because they were literally the same thing and it’s cheaper plus it said it has a life time guarantee. And I tend to lose things.. a lot. So if my teeth shifted again I could at least get them done for free. Plus it came with the hyperbyte which shortens the duration. Which I had a similar device to shorten my time with Invisalign. But it cost so much..
anyways for people who are wondering if you should get it because it’s cheaper. Yes it’s worth it. My teeth look better than they did with the Invisalign. Even if you can afford it I personally liked my experience with byte much better.

My husband went to an orthodontist... He's got the expensive Invisalign... And he uses that vibration thing.... The orthodontist made him switch trays pretty quickly and it was extremely painful for him. The orthodontist literally said that vibration thing helped make his teeth shift quicker. The only difference I'm seeing so far is that they put those point of attachments on his teeth. My husband even said, "The orthodontist is so proud like he did all the work... But I'm the one keeping them on, vibrating them, wearing them all day..." 😂😂😂

Also, I would go with the nighttime wear because it’s just easier. Put them in around 10 o’clock and off around 8. Simple. AND a licensed orthodontist and/or dentist prescribes the treatment plan. Dude knows this.

I used Smile Direct Club several years ago. I was happy with the result in 6 months. I understand i can get better result by going to an Orthodontist but its so expensive. I have dental insurance but my dentist said it doesnt cover braces or Invisalign. I hear people get some coverage for them. Which insurance covers them??

What if I’ve had braces before but my retainer cracked and now my teeth are slightly crooked, would this be an okay option ? I no longer have contact with my old orthodontist as well

I have sleep apnea and small overbite with a missing tooth on side and a small gap. I never had crooked teeth or crowded teeth. I never had braces. I am definitely considering this as an option since its affordable.

My teeth were never bad when I had braces, my ortho kept mine on and he kept moving them back and forth prolonging how long it was going to take. He'd literally say I think I like it the other way. He did it 4 times. I could of had them off so quickly. I lost my retainer in frace and the replacement was stupid expensive. So my teeth just went back to normal. So for 95 over I think at the time 5000. Yeah. I'll go with the retainers.

I’ve never had braces or needed them, I have all my wisdom teeth with no issues. Sadly at 19 my bottom front teeth started shifting/turning crooked :( my dentist said as you get older your jaw shifts and can cause some peoples teeth to shift as well. He said it’s purely cosmetic and if it bothers me I can do Invisalign. They quoted me at $7k for 8 months of treatment and my insurance will not cover it😭. My dentist said my teeth will continue to shift as I get older so these little companies are my only option at saving my teeth.

I was considering since I don't have a bad bite and when I went to an orthodoncist give me a quote of 10k.

I had an invisalign consultation 2 weeks ago and the price is too high for me $4, 200 out of pocket but my teeth crowding is annoying.
My palate is too narrow so my tongue doesn’t fit properly in my mouth I also have an overbite and my teeth are crooked.
I really want to get those things fixed but I don’t want to be in debt with invisalign. Should I get byte aligners cause I really want to straighten my teeth but I can’t afford invisalign

I wish Invisalign was more affordable. They said I would have to pay 4K out of pocket…😢
Are any other more affordable alternatives??
