I had no idea that was how invisilign worked. I thought they were just retainers that were slightly different than your actual teeth so they would move the teeth that way. And the retainer just gets straighter and straighter until your teeth are perfect. This makes a lot more sense though.

Honestly after a few weeks the attachments aren't really that uncomfy, I do find myself counting them to make sure all 6 of them are on tho since 1 fell off the 1st week I had them😅😂

So happy with my results from Invisalign… I finished Invisalign at the end of December 2021 and next week I am getting my temporary wires off (that my orthodontist but on the back of my teeth for a year). I’m so excited to be completely done and enjoy free reign of my teeth again 😊

They aren’t “teeth pimples” they’re just the glue that they put on your teeth so that your retainer holds on better

When I got off my invisalign to change to a retainer I was kind of sad to see them go haha. During middle school I enjoyed having them so much because I thought it was like having horns on my teeth. So I used to call them my horns. Also no one even notices them and you get used to them to the point where it feels weird to not have them there!

My dentist describes teeth as been “slippery” and need something to grip onto in order for them to move. I’m abt 7-8 ish months into invisalign treatment and my overbite was gone in 4 months.
If you have an overbite with invisalign, you will have to probably wear elastics

That was something I did not know.

It’s a game changer though, so little pain and less invasive procedures

Still very hard to see unless up close. I was finishing them through LMT school, and it wasn't until months in that I took them out to actually eat one day and someone was like "Whoa, wait! You have invisalign!?" Lol.

Huge part of their marketing is leaving this out... I didn’t find out about it until they started applying them without telling me. I’d had a solid three consultations before that. 🙄

I had Invisalign for two years! It worked great. You get used to the attachments 😊 And, once you're done, your dentist will usually grind them off and you won't have to worry about them ☺️
