So I think we can all agree that in every reality and timeline, Frankenstein says, “It’s alive!” And nobody ever remembered any different, right?

I've always heard " It's alive" ... however, in my mind, the monster of Frankenstein had pins or plugs each side of his head.

I feel so bad for Shelly Duval, she was not told what Jack would be doing and was genuinely terrified.

Thanks to the movie Young Frankenstein, I never thought it was He's Alive. Gene Wilder was very faithful to the source material they were spoofing.

At a ceremony honoring Jodie Foster, Anthony Hopkins did slip into Hannibal and started his speech with "Hello, Jodie...". Really cracked her up.

I have gone to a lot of book signings and Anne Rice was by far the worst. They put a post-it note with your name and moved it down like a conveyor belt. She didn’t even look up or say anything. She just signed the book and moved onto the next one. On the other hand Dean Koontz was great. He’d take pics with you (I have one) and even sign old books. I went to several and he was awesome.

I noticed the feeding tube right away in The exorcist. BUT most people think Regan says " Mom make it stop, he's hurting me" But she really says "Its burning"and

I liked that you all left in the whole "It's alive." In its entirety. That was a heavily edited scene being rereleased a lot.

The Freddy one and the "B word" was more from Dream Warriors, I think. When he grabbed the blonde girl watching TV and he said something like, "You're on prime time, B--ch!" I can't remember the quote but the B-tch punctuation was so heavy that it was why Rick and Morty associated it fully with him.

Even in the clip, it's clear Ann Rice says "the vampire." Just as I thought was the case, it's because "with the" together sounds like "with a" because of the shared "th." Everybody just wants to claim she called it something else and are conveniently being ignorant.

I can’t stop laughing about that scene from ‘The Simpsons.’
Great job, WatchMojo, seriously.

Corey Feldman seems to be in quite a number of these films.
Maybe he's behind all of it.

I recently had what can best be called an "Anti- Mandela" effect in regards to horror. I had listened to a movie review podcast and seen a separate Youtube review both discuss the film Ghoulies. They both complained about the advertising having the scene where a Ghoulie pops out of a toilet, but not seeing it in the actual film. I, myself remembered it clearly, so I popped in my blu-ray... and there it was in the film like it had always been. Its a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment but it was still there. Probably like with so many actual Mandela effects, these reviewers just weren't paying attention.

I can attest to the fact that the Dracula misremembering predates the movie Ed Wood... I was a child in the 70s and we were saying "I vant to suck your blood" in imitation of the character back then...

the freddy kruger one is partly right. He doesnt say bitch in that movie but in number 3 when he kills jennifer he does say 'Welcome to Primetime bitch'

Justin, clarify the rosemary's baby Mandela effect, The TV remake does show the baby where its eyes change color but for the original movie, the baby is never shown.

Hannibal Lecter never said hello Clarice in silence of the lambs but he does say it in Hannibal when she contacts hin in the beginning of the movie by saying "Is this Clarice? Well hello Clarice."

The Mandela Effect has taken the horror movie genre to a whole new level. Now, not only are we scared of what's happening on the screen, but we're also questioning our own perception of reality. Thanks for adding an extra layer of terror to my movie nights!
