Not allowed to sleep for 17 days....not so sure I buy that. The world record for sleep deprivation was 11 days, set by a 17 year old student. He could've gone on longer but was forced to stop due to the permenant brain damage he received (which still affects him to this day supposedly). I know prisoners aren't going to be treated as well as student volunteers but still, 17 days seems a stretch without a public outcry of torture and brain damage immediately after.

I spent 30 days in regular jail and it was 12 hours between dinner and breakfast and I would be so hungry it would really affect me mentally..
That's just 12 little hours

I couldn't tell the difference between dreaming and being awake... I was so confused about where I was and I would start talking in my sleep and wake up with still 2 more hours till breakfast lol

If I'm a President, I would make a prison that would be #1. I will make sure that each cell only have a square meter to place them. The prison would be on an island at least 50km away from civilization. There would be 5 ships circling around and visitors are not allowed. There would be no food for free. The prisoners would have to work for prison bucks that they could use to buy food. The most expensive which would be a single hotdog, 1 cup of fried rice, and cooked egg. The cheapest would be a sandwich with ketchup, mayo, peanut butter, jam, onion, garlic, cucumber, and pickles. The pay would be 1 hour for 1 bucks. The cheapest would cost 5 bucks. You are only allowed to do something other than work for 1 hour a week. You're also not allowed to talk to guards nor other prisoners unless you're at free time. You're only gonna go to this prison If you're a school shooter or an animal abuser.
