I’ve been growing arugula. I planted seeds the night before last and they have already grown 1 inch tall! I planted rocket arugula 3 weeks ago and they are big, fat, and 8 inches tall (so tasty!).

Instead of red radish you can grow daikon for the greens. The daikon leaves or daikon greens are tender and have a mild flavor. If you want to be self sufficient, grow some bamboo.This wonder plant supplies the world with food, fuel and furniture as well as beautifies your garden.

Hi Missilla!! So nice to see your harvests!! I am zone 6b northeast Ohio - some of our kale wintered over and has already bolted! I snapped the flower stalks and we enjoyed them with dinner! So yummy! A lot like broccali. Thanks for the reminder about microgreens. Maybe I can try again to grow some! I have a tiny greenhouse with a few trays of cole crop seedlings - hoping to get them into the garden next week. Take care!
