Project Invictus is the New Assassin's Creed Multiplayer Game for Assassin's Creed Infinity

i think the hub in the AC INFINITY plattaform is a good idea, a game for every taste, pleasing fans of the rpgs, and the more narrative driven games, and if the multiplayer returns and doesnt get too intrusive, it will be very nice, because the MP in ACB, AC REV an AC3 are amazing and unique

I read some months ago (don't remember where, because i didn't give much credit to the information at the time) that Ubisoft was planning to make an Assassin's Creed multiplayer game. It would be kind of a "Monster Hunter Assassin's Creed" game, where 4 players (each choosing a character from the main games, such as Ezio, Connor, Edward...) could team up to take down monsters from the saga (minotaur, sphinx....). As a fan of the older games, this game concept didn't do it for me. I also thought this were fake news, but hearing all this new info about Invictus reminded me of that "Monster Hunter" type of game, so I wanted to share it with you. Anyway, thank you for keeping us AC fans well informed, I really love this YT channel. Keep up the good work!

The word "experience" also make me think of it is not only about game/multi player game. They might include those History Tour like the one in Origin and Odyssey in it, some that the History detail they had researched for previous game will not be wasted.

The only way I can see Invictus fitting into the AC lore is if it were treated like some kind of training session, allowing for users to adapt the setting, avatars, and targets, etc. Or maybe some kind of weird simulation based on what the Readers (Desmond and Layla) are working on.

so its marvel-esque design. We are still on the same story since 2007, with small arcs like Ezio and Americas, but with 3 phases. Phase 1 is AC - Syndicate, Phase 2 is Origins to Valhalla, Phase 3 is Infinity ala Unity''s Helix program.

What is the AC Mirage team doing next? Are they a new separate AC team like Quebec and Montreal? Do they get another project of their own? It'd be nice to keep at least this 1 studio focusing on classic AC. Maybe that's the plan.

Well I'm just happy some games will be single player and others multiplayer, instead of adding both into one game.

Also I've been playing AC 1 lately and it's really hitting hard. No fast travel and free roam is annoying. I really wish this game got a remake/remaster

I don't mind long post launch support, i just think the way so far they have done that post launch support is the most basic and boring one. Tw3 was also massive and had two huge dlcs but that never felt padded or boring to me.

It's good that project red has a long dev cycle and if Quebec manages to get the tone and feel right of the setting in their story, which they failed imo in both odessey and especially syndicate, then this can something genuinely good. I think they are gonna go for the sengoku period which was a very bloody and war torn time in Japan and since they are all about leap in to history, I hope Quebec makes a project that's a little more grounded and takes itself at least a little seriously rather than the caricatures that were in syndicate for example.

Another thing I hope they remember is that they are selling red as some kind of shinobi fantasy and that means something very different to how the rpg ac games have played so far. Tbh I am hoping for some kind of stealth rpg.

I am definitely cautiously optimistic though, maybe third time's the charm for Quebec. Fingers crossed.

I really like that last point from cote. That they will allow smaller teams to work on smaller projects from other studios maybe sorta like how mirage is a comparatively smaller title from a relatively smaller studio.

Maybe we would end up seeing that project Richard thing that Sofia was working on, which was supposedly not even an open world game rather something similar to uncharted.

I have to say if they do manage to nail this infinity project we could enter a pretty interesting and diverse period for assassin's creed as a whole though this is ubisoft we are talking about so they are probably gonna screw this up somehow.
