To give you another example, "las personas" is a feminine-gendered word and it's used to refer to a group of people regardless of their gender. That's how the Spanish language works. All nouns have a gender. This person is so clueless. "Latinx" is offensive. We're not Latinx. Stop using that term.

Latinx is offensive. The x has no meaning in spanish whatsoever and its ungrammatical. X is not a suffix in the spanish language. The suffix o is gender neutral in spanish not just masculine.
