If someone uses the term "LatinX" in front of you, use the term "CrackerX". If they ask why you used that term, tell them, "I don't want you to be the only one screwing with a whole culture's identity."

im indigenous (Mexican), I reject the terms Hispanic & Latino. Before Columbus, there were no tribes named the Latinos/latins. These terms are European/white in nature, Latin is the root word for Latinx making it a European/white term, Im not white. As an indigenous person, there is always some group that has to rename/rebrand us. Indio/indian, country of conquest (mexican, colombian, peruvian to name a few), Native American, Spanish, Latino, Hispanic, Latinx. The irony is that while they (sjws/inclusives/woke people) are fighting for the humanity/rights of one group (lgbtq) they are stepping on & ignoring the humanity/history/rights of another. Inclusivity does not include me & my history, im not worth the respect in the eyes of these people. Its a slap to my face when you feel the need to rebrand me in the name of inclusivity when there is a bevy of inclusive terms in existence like, latin, hispanic, indigenous (tribal name), spanish, country of origin (cuban, Argentinean, Honduran to name a few) there is term for everyone. La mayoría de la gente que utilizan la palabra latinx ni pueden hablar el español.

He have a lot of misconceptions about the Spanish, there equally female gendered words in Spanish: la gente (the person); la persona (the person), and la humanidad (the humanity); and you don't see males complaining that they are not people, persons or part of the humanity. Is disrespectful that Anglo speakers are trying to change language that they don't speak, aren't interested to learn or have zero interest to learn. Anyway, the correct term in English is Latin American and is already gender neutral.

Latinx is not a good term.
Most Latin Americans don’t like the term because it changes the Spanish language and insults it. It a far left Anglo word

Gringos have NO right to destroy the Spanish language, not even Gringos with Latin-American ancestry.

It also makes me angry that you say stupid things like "You are Latina and I am Latino, but together it would be "Latinos""

We would also be "PERSONAS". We would be part of the "Latina" community and "Latinidad"

I am Boriken, Daka Taino. All of these are assimilated terms. This is embarrassing. STOP USING THE WORD LATINX!! It is deeply offensive & disrespectful!! Latino & Hispanic is already offensive enough!! These ridiculous names attempt to dissolve our roots, history, identity & our indigenous aboriginal ancestors!!!

In latin america we use the "E" instead of the "X". The X is a letter that is used mostly in the US, we don't have many words with X in it and is weird even trying to say it..
We use the "E"
LatinE
AmiguE
For every word that has a gender, when we talk about a person that we don't know how he represent himself we use the E. When we talk in plural too.

Love these classes.
