One good thing to know here: mechanical advantage. The biceps muscle is its strongest when the elbow is flexed because biceps is pulling on the ulna bone horizontally. Just watch online for pulling of the biceps muscle. It often happens when humerus is more horizontal and your elbow is extended with a heavy weight for your biceps. I recommend just doing regular dumbbell curls from your sides for about 3x10 repetitions and you are good to go.
If you want to do specific biceps head training, since biceps has two heads, then just do regular dumbbell biceps curls your humerus on your side and then a cable curl one arm at a time and humerus behind you

That technique gives you an insane pump.
Adapted it and felt way more stimulation (even though it sucks, very bad) especially if you raise the dumbells up to your forehead and have a slow excentric movement.

Body builders really need to check in with rock climbers for their bicep game. We used to do chin ups with our hands and elbows together. Basically doing chin ups with biceps instead of lats. This idea but 10x better

With your arm in front of you your bicep will be less stretched but I guess the extra tension at the stretched position is worth it
