Uvalde community reacts to release of Robb Elementary hallway video from the day of the massacre

The Uvalde mayor, city council, and some families were upset at how the video was released. Others applauded the video's release.

How can the Mayor say the parents “don’t need to see” the gunman enter? Why is that? The parents deserve to see EVERYTHING they want to.

Why is the Mayor worried about the release of the video? Is "damage control" for his city more important than the families getting answers and having transparency as to the failure of the law enforcement to do their job? I was disgusted to watch an officer more worried about using hand sanitizer and another checking his phone than going on and saving those innocent children's lives. There were a lot of them in that hallway with bulletproof vests, and they waited 77 MINUTES to try and take out one 18 year old gunman? Unbelievable failures across the board. Every one of those officers who stood in that hallway as well as the police chief need to be fired to never hold any law enforcement job again across this nation. Put them on a DO NOT HIRE list.

I hope the residents of Uvalde realize that the Mayor, the entire city council, the Uvalde Co. DA have all worked diligently to hide the truth from Uvalde's residents. Pete Arredondo is not the only one that needs to be held accountable.
