The mayor is deflecting, the way those officers responded was chicken! It's crazy how he has nothing to say about that! He needs to be fired right along with every single cop in that hallway. I saw the full video on AP. It was very clear that these officers were not fit. They clearly let themselves be overcome with fear as they heard those children being shot.

They need to be removed and charged with depraved indifference. They were more concerned with their own safety than those children.

The officer sanitizing his hands shows how much they truly cared. As always they're lives are more important than others. First priority should be getting the children out asap, not making sure your hands are clean. Now those hands are bloody forever

I think its an insult to every family involved to call any of this a “response”. To respond or react means they did ANYTHING, they didn’t do anything besides let the clock run out until that POS wasted all of those kids.

Edit: Semantics of action/inaction aside, the police are a pathetic waste of tax payers money. This overpaid home military has been the best example, gun law reform is the only way to move forward.
