I DID end up having dessert - 2 ice cream sandos 😂 so my intake was more like 1700 most likely that day!

Hi April, i so glad I found you. I'm as petite as you are but i'm 62 years old and for a long, long time was a vegetarian who didn't pay too much attention to protein. Therefore, I'm now showing some "deficits" and have been asked (by my PCP) to eat animal protein. So, I have included animal protein to my daily food. I workout with dumbbells and some resistance machines 2 times a week and try to make it 3 times a week. Lately I'm noticing that my cloth is not fitting as nicely as it was. I'm not weighing myself but can surely tell I'm gaining eating around 1, 300/1, 400 calories. Can you please help??? Thank you in advance!!

Any tips for healthier salad dressings?

Suggestions for people who don't like eggs or oats? Lol. Healthy breakfasts always seem to include both.

what do you mean by "nutritionist"? anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. it's not a regulated term like a dietician. what program did you go through?

Your channel is a Godsend. Never once did I even consider that being 5'1" is a factor 😮

I'll be honest that I feel confused when someone says they are intuitive eating, but are counting and being very mindful about the macro and micro nutrients of every single thing you eat, I don't know how I'm supposed to be able to eat intuitively if I'm just doing the work of thinking about how food and nutrients are in everything but just not weighing or using a scale?

Hi April! I’m so happy I found you! Not to discredit my trainer. She’s fantastic but she has me eating about 1900 calories a day even on my off days. I’m 5’1, have a sedentary job and go to the gym about 3/4 times a week. I started with her in June and I feel like I’ve gained more weight than anything. Just wanted to get a second opinion.

I had to look up ectomorph. Was expecting it to be some science fiction joke. Wrong. It's a body type.

Yess my fave thing about not tracking is not finishing my food lol. Tracking made me feel like I needed to eat every bite

I think the main thing I am struggling with lately is eating well with the crazy prices of everything.

Thank you for sharing your REAL what you eat in a day. You are honest and so helpful. This is why I respect you! PS. I like eggs for lunch too!

Do you feel like gaining muscle and working out for so many years has decreased your appetite, or are you just more intentional about what you eat? I love your videos, but all of these "real" WIEIAD where the person is "full" after eating a 500 calorie "meal" are really confusing to me. I'm not saying you're lying, but it's so far removed from my reality I don't understand what's going on.

Omg do you ever feel hungry on 1500 calories? If so, how do you control it? I’m 5’3” and 107 lbs, I work out 5-6x a week, and I have such a hard time going under 1700! Usually I fall between 1800-2000 🫣
