I'm not the only one who forgets to eat until I get sick? Oh, cool

I actually started crying when I watched this video because I relate to it so much and I know how it feels to need these things to be said, and I know that my mom doesn't understand. She doesn't realize how much I need it.

Just watched this after things not to say, and you're great. I have fallen in love with a girl with ADHD, and I'm trying to learn more so I can treat her better, because she is just so awesome, I'm lucky to know her.

OMG number 1 is literally my favorite scenario!!! my best friend would text me every night at 9:30 asking if I did my homework. She was a life saver so many times, and she didnt make it weird or make me feel bad about it.

I don't have ADHD, but I have Asperger's, which is somewhat similar, in some ways, and I've got friends and family with ADHD, and I love them so much, and I love how people with ADHD can do things that other people can't do. You guys think even more "outside the box" than us autistic people do. One of my nieces actually has both going on for her, and while she, of course, has plenty of challenges, she also has a lot of awesome superpowers. Seriously. I can't make this stuff up. She's like a super-creative, adorable, fun, wonderful, fast little bundle of energy who could easily build a skyscraper out of candies in two days, if she wanted to.

My mom doesn't like it when I obsess over certain "things" so I just don't talk to her about it anymore. I just don't like to talk to anyone anymore. I like to be in my bed under my covers with the lights turned off...

Imagine being 54 years old and just now being diagnosed! OMG thank you for your videos!! They were really great and funny yet they even brought a few BIG tears to my eyes as I have never heard someone speak for me as you did in these vids. You are the best, Jenn!!!! THANK

I love how direct and thorough you are with these things. It's so difficult to explain these things to people and get them to actually believe their legitimacy.

One of the big things that hit me was supporting something that they are fixated. My big fixation is music. I play 7 different instruments and my parents have discouraged it because they don't see the money in it. As of late, recording music has been HUGE for me. My fixation on music has made me a pretty decent guitarist and pretty respected as a musician. A friend of mine, who owns a record label and management company, has recently told me that I have what is needed to be in the music industry. That was one of the biggest compliments that I've ever received as an artist.

The end of this video is by far my favorite part. But no, seriously, this is another great video with some really great tips!

I really like you for doing this video :) That's exactly what I need to hear on a day to day basis but it's SO HARD to make people understand these things.

Thank you.

I just found your channel and these videos about ADHD. I am severely ADHD and was diagnosed late in life after having a complete meltdown from it. I'm still putting my life back together right now and learning coping skills. Also, both my kids have ADHD, hopefully since my wife and I are on top of getting them help they won't have to go through the same difficulties I have. Thank you for making these videos.

Back when my grandma broke her arm and needed constant watching and care, I was so stressed because I had to help care for her by myself for a few days. But when my aunt (my grandma was living with her) told me shed make me a detailed list of when she needs to eat and when to take medications... Omg i can't even begin to describe the sense of relief I experienced. Loved the video Jenn!!
