New York City is the land of amazing food experiences. From pasta made in a wheel of cheese, to a Christmas ornament filled restaurant, to an Italian countryside inspired rooftop, to a giant milkshake topped with a full slice of cake. We had so much fun trying these crazy foods. We even found THE BEST Italian restaurant in NYC!

Have you ever been to any of these places? Would you want to go??

Restaurants: Pasta Eater, NYC - Rolf's German Restaurant, Black Tap Burgers, Serra at Eataly Flatiron

The chef at Pasta Eater clearly LOVES his job. It's a tough industry, especially in NYC, so to have someone speak so highly of the owner says a lot about the quality of his restaurants.

Man it was awesome to see two Italians talking about their homeland with such happiness! No place like home they say, Love the videos and you guys make such a good couple!

So many Italians moved to and continue to move to the NJ, NYC, CT, RI region (basically the historical Italian Mob hotspots) and that has given us very quality Italian restaurants and bakeries. The culture is different from almost anywhere else in the US. We are spoiled enough that I tend to skip Italian food outside this region.

We have been to Pasta Eater twice based on your recommendation...in fact, one time we sat at the same table you guys did LOL! It's really a great place! We will definitely go back!

I sure hope it was worth it for Rolf’s to get that table emptied and you two on your feet. Because now over 300, 000 people know which restaurant to AVOID in New York City for rude service and average food!

He's crying because he loves food he respects it to have a good meal you can enjoy outside of the country you were born in I'm sure brings a lot of wonderful memories

These two are brilliant! You can see their love for one another, as well as their desire to inspire and educate us with their content. The way the fella gets emotional when he eats food that reminds him of his home land, and his lady gets emotional for "Amore, that's amore!"

I'm thoroughly enjoying this NYC series. So much so, that I don't want it to end!

That pasta prepared in the wheel of cheese looked amazing and It seems like i could taste the goodness from watching that! And nothing beats the fresh pasta of course. That's the most difficult and time consuming thing for the regular consumer to do unfortunately. Great to see good times 💞

I live in NYC (8 years originally born in FL)-love seeing the city in your eyes. Pasta Eater and Eataly are great choices if you want authentic Italian. I am not Italian or Italian American (I am PR, Polish, French and Swiss German third generation) but I love Italian food, especially since I have visited Italy. I have had trouble finding authentic Italian food in NYC when I am not in the mood for Italian American but Pasta Eater and Eataly have become favorites for me now that I live here. I love that market in Eataly too-so many great items even though it is expensive.

You are way to nice with ROLF’s. Once she reminded me of the one-hour time limit her tip would have been cut in half. And when she took your plate without asking zero tip. And no return trip.

Fun fact about the Shirley Temple: Shirley didn't actually like it! She said in an interview in 1986, "The saccharine sweet, icky drink? Yes, well...those were created in the probably middle 1930s by the Brown Derby Restaurant in Hollywood and I had nothing to do with it. But, all over the world, I am served that. People think it's funny. I hate them. Too sweet!" She even brought a lawsuit to prevent a bottled version of it from being sold with her name!

I got to go to Pordenone many years ago and made it a point to ask the hotel owner for recommendations for dinner. He always sent us to the small out of the way restaurants. It never failed to be a wonderful evening enjoying each course and just enjoying the atmosphere and the company. The distinct flavors of each item was amazing!

A waiter forcefully telling me I HAVE to leave in an hour and then picking up my unfinished plates would defintely impact the tip...just saying.
