As a Dominican, I can firmly say that Acuario cafe has my favorite Dominican food in the city outside of the uptown/Bronx area. Everyone who works there has always been super nice and I consider it to be one of my favorite places to get food in NYC for sure. Of course, Los Tacos and Jollibee also have a place in my heart as well.

I told my fiancé exactly what your wife told you about Los Tacos No. 1. I grew up between the border cities of Tijuana and San Diego, and these tacos are the best I’ve had in NY. The tortillas are handmade which in my opinion is the most important part of a taco. 🌮❤️

Went to Acuario Cafe for lunch today. That was the best cheap lunch I've ever had!

All of these places are on point. Acuario Cafe though....that's a true hidden gem. My co-worker led me on to it & I was hooked ever since. You're spot on about getting there at a certain time though b/c even though it may be hidden, it's well known & they run out quick! That's how you know it's good! Great video as always!
