Haha, I always say I prefer the sound of older strings, but once I finally bite the bullet and change them, I realize how much better new strings are... in most cases 😂

Hahaha, this is a good question. Watching this video, of course I prefer the old in reality, the new ones and I like it. The problem with the old strings is the tuning.

Very interesting question. Of course new strings sounds great. But I am lazy and I hate to change strings so on my guitar i have the same strings for almost 10 years and I am used to that and i like it.

I think that Jimmy Page tuned down his strings that far for "I Can't Quit You" Such a great sound.

Well, I prefer old strings for two reasons. First is that your video shows that they sound better. Second reason is that i chnge my strings so rarely, so my answer can't be different. ;)

Big difference, Dave! On piano, it takes a few re-tunings to get a new string to blend
with the others, much less replacing several strings! Like#3! Have a nice day! \|/

Old strings are much more prone to hurt my fings... Try to do some slides in a rusted B and E strings with a set of 0.11 or 0.12... ahahahaah

I'm not one to change strings "routinely." Only when I feel a "deadness" to change them. Just me jes' sayin'. :)
