Very interesting and well done video.
I’m using a custom shop OM 28 vintage with Fishman matrix infinity pick up, Fishman loudbox amplifier and Mogami platinum cable.
I use the bronze one because I find the phosphore too bright.
First thought about the new authentic strings is that they sound good very quickly, almost straight away, but on the other hand they die very quickly. Two weeks max and more annoying after one week the bass are gone.
Second thought is that they sound louder and I like it.
In summertime when there are more gigs coming I use elixir nanobronze because I know they last one month.
After trying 5 sets of these new authentic strings I’m going back to John Pierce mainly because they sound very good, quite similar and maybe better but mostly because the strings die altogether and therefore they sound more balanced after 2 weeks.
Only pb is that the gauge of the first string is .53 vs .54 for the Martin and it makes a difference starting at the 12th fret, maybe my OM is too sensitive but fortunately I don’t go very often behind the 12th fret.

Hi Aaron, I've just purchased some Martin Sp strings from Patsy, Google suggested them, normally I go for extra light Martin's but these are far better. thanks.

I’ve started washing my hands before playing and do wipe the strings down.
I just got 3 sets of the same strings yesterday except mine are 12 gauge as I never considered 12.5 so that’s one for the future.. in fact it’s the first time I’ve put Martins on my guitar so I’m looking forward to it.
Great video 🎸😎

Cool video! I like the EARTHWOOD LIGHT 80/20 BRONZE ACOUSTIC GUITAR STRINGS - 11-52 GAUGE. Very bright sounding and are fairly cheap. I can usually buy three packs for 12$.
