How I FOLLOW UP with People

After networking events, everyone forgets to follow up. Everyone forgets who they met and what was discussed.

Here’s my secret on how to follow up with people after a networking event:

1) Take notes during the conversation
2) Put the person’s name, the date you met them, and these notes into Excel
3) Add a column that is date + 30 days.
4) Filter by that column and then send a message to someone when that date comes.

By taking notes, you can bring up something that was discussed with them and they will appreciate that you followed up with them!
