This video is the one thing that finally opened my eyes as to why my highlights and shading looked so wonky!! I could never put my finger on it until your mentioning of DECREASING saturation as a color get BRIGHTER and changing the hue as a color gets darker or lighter!! Figuring out colors is one of the hardest parts of drawing for me, and a large part of why I've been struggling to pick up Krita. Too many tools, and too many things to figure out simultaneously. Thank you for this brief explanation of color palettes, I will be making good use of it over the next few months.
