You're literally the BEST art teacher! I paid for a lot of art tutorials but I still feel I learned the most important things from you. I am hyped whenever you upload. Love u! :)

Marco, you’ve always made the most sense to me in arriving at correct color relationships and values; thank you sir!

A much easier way to set the 3D cursor in your workflow is to hold the shift key and then right click where you want your cursor to be in your current view. It will backwards project the 3D position onto the correct surface/object.

If you liked that little color lesson, consider my ~4-hour 'COLOR SURVIVAL GUIDE' video class! It's got pretty much everything you want to know about using color:

ALSO - 3:15 I totally reversed the sunlight direction there! Chalk that up to me cramming way too much filming into one day. D'oh! (The color lesson, though, still holds up.)

Happy creating!

I've bought so many of your classes, you're seriously one of my top 3 teachers and one of the largest influences on my art.

Grease Pencil is the best! Texture brushes give so much creative control in so many ways!
You can also mix modifiers and effects to get some interesting looks / animations to your strokes with just few clicks :)
Great tutorial man!

I am not even digital artist, I'm fine artist student who does ibis paint x once in a while, but your videos help me everywhere. Recently my teacher appreciated me saying how drastically I've improved. All I did was to watch your videos and apply that knowledge while practicing.

WHAT DID I JUST WATCH! I've been doing art all my life, but never have I ever seen such a good video on colour theory like this!!! THANK YOU!!!

Great video! Here's a tip: You can just set the 3d-cursor with shift+right-click. It will set it on the surface of whatever you click. The way you do it is a great way to get the cursor into a very precise location, but for this kind of thing I think shift+right-click will be good enough and save a lot of time. Again, thanks for the vid!

I've watched many of your videos on color theory along with even buying your courses. Yet each time a new video is made I still learn something from you.

Almost everything i know about color i know because of your videos, very grateful for these amazing videos. Also love that you demonstrate, using the pattern of how colors work in reality to stylizing the color choices and keeping the believibility that comes with that pattern

I've been wanting to learn Blender for a long time but it seems so complicated to learn-- but seeing as how they've implemented 2D into this with the Greaser pencil, there's no way I'm not learning Blender now. This is exciting! Would love to see more of these!

Honestly, I have learned a LOT about grease pencil with this and when you added the custom brushes and especially the atmosphere, my jaw dropped.

It is 3:30am currently so I will have to try this out later but I am excited to explore things I never thought possible.

Best Blender paint tutorial out there. Honestly, I wish ANY of my teachers in school were this good.

Thank you Marco Bucci, I don't know how I can survive color theory without your videos. It's easy to grasp and how you play with the color adjustment makes me awe

17:30 if the transparent background still doesn't work, go to the Material » Settings » Blend Mode and try "Alpha Hashed" or "Alpha Blend".
It worked for me :)

The way you explain color theory in your videos makes those concepts so much less daunting to try to learn; always appreciate your videos! <3
