I became cold hearted last year, i used to do everything for others without asking any return, some people thought I was stupid so they could use me when they wanted, as I turned into cold hearted even my friends and relatives started to respect me alot. The less appreciation I show them the more they try to please me. This is the biggest lesson I learned last year.

I can relate to what you're saying my own mother left me for dead as an infant in a crib covered in my own feces and urine. I almost died multiple times and suffered from malnutrition. Only to join the military go to war twice and become a homeless veteran for three years. I have accepted my scars. I decided to try harder and learn from books in a library. Fast forward now I make 6 figures and I'm a high valued systems engineer (Sr. Systems Engineer) going for my masters and I still look young. Thanks for this video by the way I needed to hear this.

I've grown cold. But I never wanted to end up this way. Used to be the kid that would cry when my his parents leave him at school. But now, I distance myself from people, even long time friends, couldn't open up to them. Stepping out of the cold defence is really challenging. Especially when the cold has become a big part of you.
