I did exactly as you instructed although mine says System>Troubleshoot>other troubleshooters> audio (not 'playing audio)'. I ran the program, it found nothing. But then the option for them to test the sound remotely came up. Against my better judgement I agreed, They initiated a tone, I said yes that I had heard it, they said, sorry unable to find issue. Then suddenly your video started playing sound. I just got this computer and was really irritated that it played system sounds but not videos, especially youtube. I use this for school and could not use it due to not being able to hear lectures. All I know is that it works now! THANK YOU!
