A desktop computer and a monitor are connected with each other via a cable. Every input given to a computer is displayed on the monitor in the form such that a user can understand. The signal coming from the computer tells the monitor what to display. If you see a “No Signal” message on your monitor, it means that your monitor is not getting a valid video signal from the computer. In this video, we will explain what you can do if you see a No Signal message on your Acer monitor.

Timecodes:

00:35 Check Cable Connections
01:26 Check Your Cable
01:47 Check video Source and Monitor
02:34 Reset System BIOS

Something SUPER simple you can check is this: if your computer is using a graphics card, make sure your cable is plugged into the graphics card's port, NOT the general port for your computer. I was so confused as to why my monitor wasn't displaying correctly until I realized I wasn't plugging the cable into the graphics card.

I get it now.
So if I get no signal and my pc is not connecting to the monitor, I just go into a bias magic screen.

I have an acer KG272E monitor with no display port. I bought a cable with a display head and another hdmi output, and when I connected it, it says there is no signal. Does it help?
