Q: I cant switch between Legacy/CSM and UEFI or switching didn't help.
A: If you cannot find how to switch the setting in BIOS or if switching did not help, then reinstall the Operating System.
If Windows does not install, perhaps your Hard Drive (HDD) is bad. I would then replace it and try the install again.

Q: What if Windows does not install and keeps erroring out?

Q: Will changing those settings in BIOS erase any data?
A: Changing those settings in BIOS will not delete any data from your hard drive :)

My God, you fixed it for me. I was there for ages, with it stuck on the logo. It was just an external hard drive my son had left on. Once I unplugged that, it started straight up. Sometimes the simple things we miss...Thanks for making me think, lol

Ive dried doing the comand fix and when i put “c:” or “d:” it doesnt have the same thing as them and it never finishes the restart either with deleting everything or keeping my stuff it fails

I have an acer EC-885 pc. It was showing a boot error so I followed your guidance and went into bios legacy csm and switched to ‘always’. Now it gets stuck on startup. I see the acer logo, then get a blank screen and then back to acer. It now won’t let me access bios. Any ideas?
