Orange Light Blinking & Flashing Fix - Acer E5-773G Laptop

Hi Acer owners, here is a repair video of an Acer E5-773G laptop. Yesterday, we received a laptop which does not power up. Instead of powering up, this laptop had that famous orange light flashing(or blinking). It turned out that the battery was not operating properly. The battery malfunction. In this case, you will need to reset the battery. On this Acer E5-773G model, there is a reset hole, and by pressing down the button, you can reset the battery.
On other Acer laptops which don't have the reset hole at all, you can try this: Remove the battery. Unplug the power adapter, and press the power button for more than 15 seconds. Try to turn it on after that. Hope that works!

This works! My laptop doesn't have a reset hole tho, i just removed the battery. Thank you for this! (If you want to try this and worried you're data will be erased, it won't.)

Thank you I have another type of Acer laptop and if it has a red keyboard or the buttons are outlined with the red just hold down the power button like he said, for 10 to 20 to 30 seconds

It worked for me (ACER Aspire ES15).
But in my case, pressing the tiny hole was not enough to fix the issue. I also had to unplug the power cable from the laptop, switch off the electrical extension, switch off the wall socket and unplug the cable from it. That did the trick for me. Hope it helps!

I just replaced my battery. Now with the new one after i shutdown there is still orange blinking light. I did pressed the reset button but it still keeps on blinking. Can you help me?

I have an acer predator Triton 500 and is flashing orange. I hold the battery reset button it stops flashing but after about 3 seconds it's starts flashing again...?

Thanks! Worked for an Acer VX5-591G series. I had to use a resistor lead on mine. A straight pin would have also fit. Tiny hole.
I wonder what the root cause of that issue could be. Perhaps, a power fluctuation in the AC to DC power adapter?
Battery had 6% wear and 100% charge in HWMonitor.
