This did help me. It took me about 20 minutes to sleep but was calmer almost instantaneously. I don’t know if the little walking to get the salt helped (highly unlikely).

I hear iron deficiency can cause this. I still have an urge to keep jerking my legs, kind of a dry throat feeling too. But man am I thankful for this remedy.

Currently on research mode🤓

I just tried this and it worked for me too. Didn't have any Himalayan Pink Salt so I used maybe a 1/2 teaspoon regular iodized table salt in a small glass of water. Waited for maybe 15 minutes before bed and YAY!!! Calm legs, got to sleep so easily. Whoda thought! Thanks for sharing this.

In case you are curious I usually (5-7 nights a week) take melatonin / magnesium / fish oil supplements before bed. The mag also helps with the legs, but the salt just makes me feel great! ...especially if I've had alcohol or sweat much that day.

Just took some— we’ll see! I kept taking more and more magnesium and potassium, also B1. They weren’t helping! I’ve also been having heart palpitations, so I suspected that my electrolytes were off. I think it’s helping! 😃

You and your kids are hilarious! I find that if I've had too much coffee, and I can't get to sleep, I try drinking green tea. I think it has to do with the L-Lysine in it. Which I've read is sometimes used in combination with melatonin, which can really knock you out. Just be aware that some people like myself develop headaches if they drink green tea, or take melatonin every day. So use it sparingly. I hope you do a review on Sony's recent Gamepass competitor announcement. Personally, I'm underwhelmed.

You sir, are the dude of my dreams....now that I'm actually able to dream....since i can get to sleep. Seriously though, my rls has been driving me crazy for a week straight now and there have been nights I've restlessly tossed and turned until 4AM AND BEYOND! Not kidding! Ive been taking super magnesium tabs daily as well as a handful of other vitamins and tried numerous other home remedies with no now. Until stumbling across your video. Your tip really did the sleepy trick for me. At long last i can get some desperately needed shut-eye thanks to you! Cheers dude! 🥃🧂🥱😌

I take a magnesium supplement about 3 hrs before bed. I use a air compression lrg massager before bed. But the best thing that works for me, is bar of soap under my sheets .😊

I’ll have to try this and see if it works…I saw I might be deficient in some vitamin which I can’t remember and that didn’t work…also I found out this week I have LPR…runny nose, cough, phlegm, hoarse voice, throat clearing…did the baking soda test and I have LOW stomach acid !!

WOW! I'm going out now to get some salt--RLS is HORRIBLE! THanks so much.

I'm going to try your salt suggestion. I have noticed that my restless legs are an indicator of when I take too much medicine of any kind in one day. That includes caffeine and alcohol. It all has to be metabolized in the liver, so when the liver gets overwhelmed I get RLS. When that happens I back off on the meds/supplements and it always helps. But when the threshold is reached and I have symptoms, I have had success taking a hot bath, putting heat and pressure on my legs (rice filled hot pack, ) and using a TENS unit.

Magnesium does work to reduce the feeling but it’s not a cure for me yet but maybe once I take it for a couple years I’ll see a bigger difference, it helps my mom a lot, she has it pretty bad too she’s taken it for a good amount of time, I also feel 🌿 herb chronic 💨helps to especially before bed for temp relief

I have tried liquid magnesium and it seems to help, but it is expensive.

Hmmm... I'm about to try Marmite. It's salty and chock full of magnesium & B vitamins. We'll see how it goes (RLS sufferer for over 60 years 😣).
