In school, our home economics curriculum was sponsored by the dairy industry. We were taught that if you didn’t drink four glasses of milk a day, your skeleton would disintegrate. Never mind that two thirds of the global population is lactose intolerant. As I got older, I realized that my psoriatic arthritis feels much less painful when I avoid dairy.
