Sesame chicken is one of my all time favorites. I love the extra crispy chicken soaked with the thick sticky sesame sauce. Enjoy.

How To Make SESAME CHICKEN ~ Extra Crispy SESAME CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken Marinade:
1 pound boneless skinless chicken thighs cubed 1" pieces
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
pinch of salt
sprinkle of white pepper
1 egg white
1 tbsp. cornstarch
*Mix together well, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes

Chicken Coating:
3/4 cup cornstarch or potato starch
1/4 cup all purpose flour
pinch of salt
sprinkle of white pepper

Sauce:
3/4 cup water
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tbsp. ketchup
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. sesame oil
2 tsp. sesame seeds
4 cloves minced garlic
1 tbsp. cornstarch
*Mix ingredients well

Oil for frying

Fry marinated coated chicken pieces in 350 degree Farenheit oil for
2 minutes. Remove and let rest for a couple minutes.
Fry chicken in two to three batches.

Once all batches of chicken is done, bring oil up to 375 degrees and
refry all chicken at one time for another minute or until golden brown
and crispy.

In sauce pan add sauce mixture. Turn heat up to high to bring to boil.
Let simmer for 1-2 minutes or until thick and sticky.
Add chicken into pan and toss until thoroughly coated.

Serve immediately.
Enjoy.

Hi Tess well another excellent recipe! I made this today for dinner, and it turned out terrific!. I just pushed myself away from the table, BEGRUDGINGLY, and look forward to leftovers tomorrow! I also froze 1/2 of the chicken after the first fry . Same with the sauce, before I popped the finished chicken in the sauce, I split it in two, froze one! When time to eat, thaw, fry 375°, add thawed sauce! YUMMY!
