i was on accutane because my acne was just SO BAD! people bullied me for my acne, i didn’t have a lot or as many opportunities, and didn’t have guys think i was attractive/come up to me. while i was on accutane and got off of it, i learned to do my makeup better, styled my hair, and changed my style. THAT’S when i started getting more male attention, got more opportunities in school and my personal life, and people started treating me A LOT better because i was “pretty” and “attractive”. now in my 20s, i see how sad it is that we place people’s value based off their appearance/attractiveness.

I was 18 that day, and I was confused as to why so many people were interested in the Kardashian family's daily life. They didn't do anything to deserve a reality tv show, in my opinion.

In her teens, my sister developed BDD (Body Dysmorphic Disorder) because of these standards. It really hurt to watch that. She’s my identical twin sister, who looks just like me, yet she had issues with her face and I didn’t. So, I can’t sympathize with Kylie or anyone in her family who set the “standard”. It’s definitely come full circle.

It’s still wild to me that she said the lip kits made her lips a solid 4-6x bigger w/o looking bizarre & that ppl believed it. I think getting that much filler in a face that’s 8+ yrs from being developed is scary + it migrates & as you grow into your face, you have filler in places it looked good at 17, 18, 19 but not great at 24-27. It’s sad for all the young women who got those fillers to get the kardashian look that so much of IG morphed into only to see it a few years down the line. Do I think we need headlines that say Kylie looks old? No, that’s gross too but it’s natural that the filler will migrate & I know skin is elastic but idk what having THAT much stretching your face for years & then dissolving it would do…
