A "floater" is a common term to describe a friend who everybody knows yet doesnt notice, makes small chat, but doesnt get to know them, get invited to parties, without getting attention, they're kinda there, just floating.

I really like how he landing to the floor at the end. In Mandarin, there is a word called "踏Tà實shí", which literally means "stepping on solid ground", and it means "free from anxiety". No matter it's intentional or not, I really like this pun.

It seems like he’s the type of person that externalizes his anxiety, and she seems like the type of person to internalize it.
