“Fun fact”: Deoxys is technically an alien but they’re actually a space virus mutated by laser. So they literally could not be from another planet or as old as time. Deoxys just kinda vibes and its only mission in the movie it appeared in was to recover its friend.

I feel kinda bad for him, especially with that ending. Maybe he should've gotten the ability to flee. The kid sent out no Pokémon, so maybe Deoxys could've attacked on his turn as well.
