*Larry Burkett's book on "Giving and Tithing"drew me closer to God and helped my spirituality. 2020 was a year I literally lived it. I cashed in My Life savings and gave it all away. My total giving amounted to 40, 000 dollars. Everyone thought I was delusional. Today, I received 85, 000 dollars every two months. I have a property in Calabasas, CA, and travel a lot .God has promoted me more than once and opened doors for me to live beyond my dreams.God kept to his promises to and for me*

I was lucky, I spent three days by my father's bedside a week before he passed, (He was expected to recover). I asked him to tell me everything about his life. The highs and lows. I learnt more about him over those days than in 40 something years. Don't leave it too late.

This November will be the 20th anniversay of my dad’s passing. While I do try to honor him, he wasn’t really a good man in life. He hated his parents, his brothers, Mom (who he abused), and while I think he did love me, he never told me so or showed it. But apparently he told everyone else how proud he was of me. Considering the kind of man his own father was, I don’t think he had a positive role model to teach him how to be a good father or husband, so I forgive him. As far as I’m concerned, he paid for his misdeeds with his life, I just hate that he never took the opportunities he had to change.

I am grateful my dad witnessed my rise from the ashes. 3 years before he passed to Walhalla. And I will never forget his surprised and deeply moved smile then... He survived 2 fronts in WW2 as a teenager on 2 fronts... And nearly became 90 years old. Most of his comrades at the Wehrmacht died before turning 20 yo. He was deeply thankful for a n y single day he got older than 20 years old. Imagine that!

All here :

1) What is your best memory of
your own father and grandfather.

2) What did you have as a child
that kids today are missing

3) What has life taught you about love.

4) What are three
most important values in life.

5) When was the moment
you felt most proud of me.

6) What do you wish most
for your children.

7) What is the most important family tradition
we should always keep.

Although we live in different countries and on different continents, I deeply admire my father. We are always in touch, and I have sent him these questions. I thank God for making me his son.

The best thing your father can teach you is how to die like a man:
"Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light". Dylan Thomas
